Recipe for Skin Softening Bubble Bath
A bubble bath is the perfect way to unwind after a stressful day.
Ingredients:
½ cup dried chamomile or 5 bags of chamomile tea
½ cup water
4 cups powdered milk
1-ounce coconut oil
½ cup unscented castile soap
Clean plastic jar with a tight fitting lid
Step 1: Boil ½ cup water and remove from heat. Add ½ cup of dried chamomile or tea bags to the water and cover the pot with a tight fitting lid. Allow the chamomile to steep for 20 minutes before straining the leaves or the tea bags from the water.
Step 2: Pour the chamomile water into a bowl and add the 4 cups of powdered milk. Milk is naturally high in lactic acid, which soothes and softens dry, itchy skin. Milk will also help to moisturize while tightening and refining pores.
Step 3: Add 1 oz coconut oil to the mixture. Coconut oil is a natural healing element perfect for sore, tired muscles. Coconut oil is not only a great smelling moisturizer, but it helps to heal dry, cracked skin.
Step 4: Stir in ½ cup of unscented liquid castile soap. Castile soap is a natural cleanser made entirely from olive oil. Castile soap will leave your skin smooth and soft.
Step 5: Mix the ingredients well and carefully pour your skin softening bubble bath into a clean plastic jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake gently before using. To use, pour under hot running water to enjoy a pleasant, relaxing soak.
This recipe makes enough bubble bath for approximately four indulging soaks.
*Most of the above ingredients may be found at your local health food store.

Bridal Tips
1 month before:
- Practice good nutrition and exercise to relieve stress. Take a nice hot bath. Try our Relaxing skin softening
bubble bath bubble you can make at home.
- If you are thinking of trying a new hairstyle do it now. Give your self enough time to “fix” anything you might not like.
1 day before:
- Get a manicure and pedicure and maybe even a massage.
- On your big day, you will want to enchant your groom. Relish being pampered. You don’t get to be a princess everyday. Simply enjoy your day and let
our make-up and hair artists do the work. We will come to you. We will bring everything we need to help you look and feel truly beautiful.
Miscellaneous Tid-Bits
- Do not shampoo your hair the morning of the wedding if you want your
updo to hold
better.
- Don’t shy away from false lashes. When applied properly with waterproof glue your lashes will look amazing and your eyes will stand out beautifully in your photos.
- For minor breakouts try gentle acne treatments on the area. If your pimple has gotten out of control, try a visit to your dermatologist
a few days before the wedding for a cortisone injection.
- Exfoliate your lips gently with a soft toothbrush and some Vaseline. Brush gently in a back and forth motion. This will help increase the circulation and plump up your lips. Don’t over brush.
- If you have a “red” blemish on the day of your wedding try freezing a few drops of visine type eye drops onto a teaspoon. When the liquid turns into ice, place it on the red blemish. The cold will help to shrink the swelling and take away the redness.

Avoiding self- tanner disasters
You can easily have a great and completely natural looking sunless tan on your wedding day, without fear of ruining your dress, skin or photos.
A beautiful sunless tan can be achieved in a matter of hours, but perfecting application skills can take months.
We recommend seeking a professional to apply the self-tanner. Opt for a salon that hand applies the tanner or a salon that specializes in airbrush sunless tans to avoid strap lines. We also recommend doing trial tan runs in the months prior to your wedding to find the level of tan that is most flattering for you.
Make sure to schedule your tan 2-3 days before your wedding. To prepare your skin exfoliate thoroughly with a non-oil based body scrub. Make sure not to shower for 8-10
hours after application.
If you choose to apply self-tanner yourself. Make sure to properly exfoliate as recommended above. Apply an adequate amount of moisturizer on areas where you do not want self tanner to leave stains.
Wear "GLOVES” to avoid orange hands. Again experiment with several different products for the month’s prior to ensure the tan you desire.
If after all this you have any staining or streaking here are a few helpful hints to help remove them.
- Purchase a self-tanner remover. We recommend ST. TROPEZ available at
Sephora.
- Squeeze fresh lemons, and rub the juice on the stains. Rub “gently” with a
loofah.
- Apply baby oil on the stains; rub “gently” with a loofah.
Enjoy your beautiful “sun-kissed” tan.
